ALSOYOUTH
This one-of-a-kind car hood was created to celebrate the incredible impact Also Youth has made in the community since 1992 supporting LGBTQ+ youth and their families. During this collaborative mental health art activation, the community came together to add their own creativity, messages, and energy — transforming the hood into a powerful symbol of hope, inclusion, and support.
Today, the finished hood proudly hangs in ALSO Youth’s new Sarasota location as a reminder of the community that helped create it. The artwork has also been transformed into a limited-edition hoodie and t-shirt collection, with a substantial portion of proceeds benefiting Also Youth and their mission to empower LGBTQ+ youth through peer support, counseling, scholarships, and community programs.
